Melamine phosphate is a widely used additive flame retardant. In response to the strict restrictions on halogen-containing flame retardants in Europe and America, our company has developed the most popular and sought-after melamine phosphate flame retardant. Applications:
1. In fireproof coatings, it can serve as both a catalyst and a foaming agent, with performance slightly superior to ordinary ammonium polyphosphate.
2. In ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, when used together with cyclic urea-formaldehyde (charring agent), it can demonstrate highly effective intumescent flame retardant effects in polyolefins.
3. It is an effective flame retardant when used in combination with thermoplastic polyesters and pentaerythritol phosphate.
4. Suitable as a flame retardant for polystyrene, replacing polybrominated diphenyl ethers.
5. Suitable as a flame retardant for rubber (styrene-butadiene, nitrile, polypropylene elastomers).
6. Suitable as a flame retardant for nylon 6/6, epoxy resins, and rigid polyurethane foams.
7. Used together with porous graphite as a flame retardant for polysiloxane molding compounds.
